The GOGLA policy repository is a database for national legislation, policy, and regulation relevant to the off-grid solar energy industry in five East African countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. The repository covers current and emerging policy and regulatory areas (both direct and indirect to the sector), including:

1. Laws and regulations, such as energy acts.
2. Sector planning, such as national energy plans, rural electrification strategies, and national renewable energy plans.
3. Fiscal policy, such as VAT and finance acts.
4. Consumer protection acts and regulations.
5. Data protection policies.
6. Product standards.
7. Consumer protection acts and regulations.
8. E-waste
9. Financial regulations

GOGLA plans to further expand the repository to cover more regions in Africa and South Asia.
