A consistent approach to consumer rights, impact calculations, and even technology standards can allow companies, investors, policymakers, and other sector stakeholders to work together better. GOGLA’s frameworks, tools, and studies offer the off-grid solar industry a transparent set of resources in a coherent manner.
GOGLA leads the implementation of the Consumer Protection Code (CPC) to help safeguard positive industry impact and respect the rights of consumers.
The Connect initiative is defining a family of universal connectors and device-to-device firmware standards for enhanced interoperability of 12V SHS Kit and Appliance.
GOGLA’s standardized metrics on energy access, income generation, CO2e reduction and more enable companies and investors to estimate the impact of their organization or investment.
The main goal of the working group was to recognise the challenges in the industry and identify solutions and actions to strengthen the industry. The group aimed to create a narrative for people in the industry to demonstrate we have a vision and strategy for growth.
