A Commitment to the Consumer Protection Code (CP Code) signifies that the off-grid solar provider seeks to improve consumer protection practices by complying with the CP Principles in its treatment of consumers.

The companies listed below have made a Commitment to the CP Code, and have declared to GOGLA that they have undertaken a Self-Assessment within the previous 12 months. Companies that do send GOGLA a Self-Assessment Declaration at least every 12 months have their logo removed from this page.

The companies listed here have undertaken a Third-Party Assessment with our accredited provider MFR, to evaluate their performance against the Consumer Protection Code and strive for improvement.

An Endorsement of the Consumer Protection Code (CP Code) signifies that industry stakeholders align their internal practices with the Consumer Protection Principles. Investors, National Renewable Energy Associations, manufacturers and other stakeholders who have made an Endorsement of the CP Code support off-grid solar providers in their portfolio or member base, or distribution partners to fulfil the minimum standards of practice in their treatment of customers.

A Third-party assessment is an independent, in-depth evaluation of a company’s performance against the six CP Principles and 37 CP Indicators. The assessment is undertaken by our accredited provider, MFR, who identify recommendations and work with the company to develop an action plan for improved performance.
